The staff have been extremely friendly and helpful! I'm here celebrating a birthday, and they had have helped make it feel even more special. The room is beautiful with a fantastic view, and the entire resort has been spotless the whole time I've been here. You can't beat the location either! I have already told several people that they should stay here and hope to return again in the future.

Excellent ocean view! The facility was clean and service was good. Rooms are a little dated but for the price I think it was fair. Nice amenities with work out center, multiple pools/spas, volleyball, pickleball/tennis court, outside fireplaces. They are trying, that's for sure. Location is just across the 101 to the beach. Very walkable, just a couple of mins. Very accessible which was nice. On the con side, it is a few hundred yards from a Carlsbad waste water treatment center. If the wind is blowing towards the sea...you will notice this. Ugh...is what it is. And there are train tracks just behind the property. And the trains to do run regularly, so if you are a light sleeper, make sure you have some white noise.

Just stayed in room #312 for my wife's 60th birthday. I was very appreciative of the staff booking this room request for me. We have stayed at Seapointe Resort 6 times now and I thought #312 would be a great view, from staying in other rooms, and it was. The ocean views and sunsets from the patio and living room are spectacular! The views from the rooms in the back units are not nearly as good. Wish we could stay there every time. The property itself is maintained well. And we enjoy the adult pool, but it is a bit chilly... We were there in Jan though, so... Haha.

Overall, I would stay here again — it was a great value and we really enjoyed our stay! We arrived before check-in time and were pleasantly surprised that our room was already ready, which allowed us to get in a few hours early. Upon walking in, the condo smelled clean and fresh. The space is essentially like a small apartment, which makes it especially suitable for extended stays. The living area was cozy. The fireplace was a really nice touch, and the balcony had an ocean view with outdoor patio furniture provided. The couch was surprisingly comfortable. The only issue we had in the living area was that we couldn’t get the ceiling fan to work. The kitchen was great. The refrigerator is smaller than a standard size, but still large enough to hold a good amount of groceries. The freezer is a separate compartment (like a traditional fridge/freezer setup) and had a working ice maker, which was fantastic. The cupboards were stocked with basic dishes, utensils, and cooking supplies - everything we needed. The bathroom layout was a bit awkward, but it functioned fine overall and the water pressure was good. The bedroom also had a slightly awkward layout (it reminded me a bit of a cruise stateroom), but it didn’t affect functionality. The queen bed and pillows were comfortable. One thing to note: the bedside lamp with built-in plug sockets didn’t seem to work, and I woke up to a dead phone one morning. I expected more noise based on some other reviews, but it was actually very quiet and I slept really well - which isn’t always easy for me when I’m away from home. When I booked, I requested to be placed next to my friend (we were traveling together but booked separately), and I’m assuming they honored that request because our rooms were right next to each other, which we appreciated. The resort itself is cozy in size, which is nice because you don’t have to walk far to get anywhere on the property. We did have some trouble with our keycards around the resort - not for our room, thankfully, but for accessing the hot tub and pool areas. When we mentioned it to the front desk, we were told they were likely closed, but the posted hours said they were open until 10 PM and it was only around 7 PM at the time. One night we noticed the fire pits were going and looked forward to using them the next evening, but they were off around 8 PM despite signage stating they operate from dusk to 10 PM. That was a little disappointing. Midway through our stay, we received a call inviting us to attend a 90-minute presentation (which I assume was timeshare-related). We opted out. That same evening, we received a note offering raffle entry if we checked out at 9 AM instead of 10 AM. Since checkout is already fairly early, it felt a little odd - something like a small credit toward the final bill might have felt more meaningful. One personal note: I wish I had brought a throw blanket from home. While I wouldn’t necessarily expect the resort to provide them (for laundry reasons), I definitely missed having one to curl up with on the couch in front of the fireplace. The resort offers a calendar of activities, which looked fun. Our stay was short and we already had plans, but if we stayed again, I’d consider spending more time enjoying what the resort offers onsite. The location is great overall, but keep in mind that there isn’t much within walking distance - most restaurants and stores are about 10 minutes away, so you’ll need a car. Overall, this was a really good value stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and well-located. We would absolutely consider staying here again.

The staff here is excellent!! The cleaning crew is amazing! The rooms are not only impeccably clean, but attention is paid to every little detail. This includes making sure your towels (and your toilet paper) are in some sort of intricate design such as a seashell or a swan. Andy, specifically, from housekeeping was top notch. He accommodated all of my extra requests and made sure everything was beyond perfect. I also want to mention the night staff. I had a very late check-in and Derrick was incredibly professional, friendly and able to make me laugh after and long and arduous trip. Being east coast I was up early, and to my surprise, Derrick was already on top of making the coffee and having everything set perfectly for the guests, with a smile.

We wanted a low-key, relaxing stay not too far from home and that's exactly what we had. We requested a change of rooms due to a current disability and Miriam at the front desk made that happen quickly and easily. The activities organized and led by Dexter were enjoyable and a good opportunity to meet other guests. Overall we had a good visit and will be back!
